‘Tag’ questions are a type of ‘yes’ and ‘no’ questions.
They are formed by adding a question tag to a sentence (statement). If the sentence is positive, the question tag is negative. If the sentence is negative, the question tag is positive. The tag repeats the auxiliary verb or model verb in the sentence, or uses the auxiliary verb ‘do’.
